Well-known Pakistani Investigating Journalist Arshad Sharif was killed in Nairobi, Kenya on 24 Oct 2022. 

He fled Pakistan in August after multiple cases were filed against him for criticizing the military and citing threats to his life.

He travelled from Dubai to Kenya when the Pakistani Government approached UAE Government for his deportation. UAE Government warned Arshad Sharif to leave the country, and he had no chance to travel other than a country-permitted visa upon arrival.

The people of Pakistan have a right to know the whole truth, as Mr. Arshad was investigating a huge corruption case with links to the sitting government.

We demand an open and lawful investigation into his assassination and want an independent body/entity to investigate this case.
