JUSTICE FOR HENRY

Petition for a Full Investigation, Transparency, and Accountability in the Death of Henry

We, the undersigned, call upon the appropriate law-enforcement and prosecutorial authorities to ensure that the death of Henry is investigated fully, independently, transparently, and with the seriousness that the death of a child demands.

Henry was a baby whose life mattered. His death deserves answers, accountability, and a process in which all available evidence is properly examined.

Henry’s mother has raised serious allegations concerning the circumstances of his death and the involvement of Taylor Clarke. These allegations should not be ignored or dismissed. They should be assessed by the appropriate authorities through a complete and impartial investigation, with conclusions based upon the available evidence.

We call upon the appropriate authorities to:

Conduct or review a complete and impartial investigation into Henry’s death, including all relevant witness and material. 

Ensure that the allegations concerning Taylor Clarke’s involvement are appropriately investigated and that no relevant evidence is disregarded.
Have the complete evidentiary record reviewed by the appropriate prosecution service to determine whether criminal charges against Taylor Clarke or any other responsible person are warranted under Canadian law.
Pursue prosecution where prosecutors determine that the evidence establishes a reasonable basis for charges and the applicable prosecution standard is satisfied.
Examine any credible allegations that evidence, records, or information concerning Henry’s death were concealed, mishandled, misrepresented, or improperly withheld.
Provide Henry’s family with the information and records to which they are legally entitled and meaningful information about the status and outcome of the investigative process.
Ensure that every person responsible for criminal wrongdoing connected with Henry’s death is held accountable through a fair and lawful process.
Henry Deserves Justice

A baby’s death must never be treated as insignificant. Especially one bludgeoned to death. 

This petition does not ask the public to determine anyone’s guilt. Guilt is determined through evidence and the justice system. We are asking the authorities responsible for investigating and prosecuting serious crimes to examine the evidence surrounding Henry’s death rigorously and to act where that evidence warrants criminal proceedings.

Henry cannot speak for himself. His life deserves to be acknowledged, his death deserves to be properly investigated, and his family deserves answers.

We stand together in asking for justice for Henry. May he rest in peace.

We, the undersigned, respectfully request a comprehensive investigation and prosecutorial review concerning the death of Henry  involving Taylor Clarke. If the evidence supports criminal charges, we ask that those charges be pursued through the Canadian justice system without fear, favour, or preferential treatment.
