On the 17th June 2023 two hunting dogs came to my property and mauled fluffer to death. The owners of the dogs showed no remorse and said nothing. Fluffer was only 7 month old, she was relaxing in her favourite spot in my garden in the sun when the two dogs ripped her down and the owners stood by and watched, they had no control over the animals. The dogs had no lead on . We live in an enclosed residential area of Washington northeast England where small animals and small children live. These animals have showed out of control predatory behaviour and there needs to be a law put in place for this not to happen and give the victim pet owners more rights . How many other small animals are going to be mauled to death or even young children?  Because of  negligent owners who clearly can't control there dogs. No remorse nothing. While myself and  my children are heartbroken, my eldest child has autism and his cat is his best friend and go to, whilst  these dogs are still allowed to live around residential areas where people have small vulnerable animals and children.
