You may all remember BRUNO as an Urgent Franklin Dog Shelter Dog. In fact he had been at Franklin County Dog Shelter for 172 days (nearly 6 months).

BRUNO was an amazing dog who loved everybody and everybody loved him.

He was a volunteer favourite but had started to get sick of his kennel life. All he wanted was a couch and/or a bed to snuggle up with his person, be LOVED & treated like he MATTERED. He was smart, he was in the run club, he was happy and full of wiggles when brought out of his kennel. He was definitely loved by those who knew him.

Instead, Franklin County Dog Shelter sent him to a home with a monster named ISAIAH RUSH (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook etc… do your thing) that kept him locked on a balcony for over 3 months with no shelter from the sun, the rain, etc...

Isaiah Rush said the dog didn't have water, then clarified stating that he had no shelter from bad or good weather, but that he had water. That doesn't sound conving at all.

ANDREW KOHN (communications relations manager) had been contacted by Isaiah’s previous PROPERTY MANAGER THE DAY BRUNO WAS ADOPTED letting him know that HE HAD ALREADY LOCKED ANOTHER DOG IN SMALL STORAGE SHED OUTSIDE (CONDITIONS IN WHICH POOR BRUNO WILL LIVE IN DURING HIS LAST 3 MONTHS OF HIS TOO SHORT & SAD LIFE) AND SHE HAD TO HAVE SOMEONE BREAK INTO THE SHED TO SAVE THE DOG’S LIFE and SHE VOICED HER WORRIES & CONCERNS ABOUT ISAIAH’SHAVING BRUNO.
ANDREW KOHN  THEN HAD TOLD HER THAT THEY WOULD MAKE SURE THEY LOOKED INTO IT. ❌THIS WAS NEVER DONE❌
Another blank promise from management-staff at Franklin County dog shelter. 

BRUNO was left outside from March until the end of June when he died of HEAT STROKE. He was left outside when it was over 90 DEGREES (about 40 C°), WITH NO WATER/SHADOW & BEING A BLACK DOG HE ABSORBED MORE HEAT. This poor boy NEVER STOOD A CHANCE!!!

They’re just as negligent in Bruno’s death.
Isaiah then found Bruno dead and proceeded to call Franklin County Dog Shelter and ask them to come and pick him up. Franklin Dog Shelter said they do not pick up dead dogs and told him to throw Bruno’s body in the dumpster. Like a piece of trash! THIS MUSTN'T HAPPEN AGAIN

SAMANTHA PAYTON is director Kaye's lackey, meaning she can constantly intimidate and scare off so many other VOLUNTEERS and even multiple RESCUES. She apparently calls and privately threatens individuals AND rescues, with her wacko demands, criticisms, whims, and threats! She also managed to get several volunteers kicked out! She truly seems unstable at times! In actuality, she has NO authority over anyone.

Many rescues have refused to put up with her BORDERLINE BEHAVIOR and it's just another reason so many have walked away from FCDS. The animals are the ones who pay for this unacceptable corrupted behavior and unforgivable negligence. Sadly, far too many rescues have refused to sign Kaye's convoluted New Hope contract. As a proof to all of this, there's the fact that Franklin Dog Shelter's rescue roster of affiliated rescue groups went from more than 120 to 47 meaning it more than halved!!! Director Kaye knows all about this!  Why is Samantha still there? Now that all of this came out they all need to be fired (Director Kaye, Samantha Payton and Andrew Kohn), be replace with people that actually care about the animal's health and happiness.

Complaints about Samantha go no where, because she does all of Kaye's dirty work. She spies on employees and volunteers for her. Remember, Kaye made the rule that volunteers could not comment on their experiences with the dogs, the positives or negatives! Samantha and Andrew make sure no one says ANYTHING about the dogs they work with! If they do, Kaye is told and the volunteer coordinator kicks them out.
For years, this key information from the people who actually interact with the dogs has always provided huge insight into each dog's personality. It makes them real and gives positives, as well as issues they may need to work on. SO informative! Now, it's just the original negative review of the dog when they arrive and any negative updates. NOTHING about their good attributes :( 

Samantha defends whatever Kaye does or says; she is there to take over if a Pitbull finally gets to go on TV (Bruno) since Kaye doesn't do Pitties...

Samantha also had the courage to say that Isaiah Rush, Bruno's adopter and murder, was screened and that he didn't have prior pets which we know to be a BIG FAT LIE, because as I already specified  upward, his former apartment manager contacted the shelter within 24 hours and begged them to get Bruno back. The reason is simple: he had already kept a previous dog out on his balcony, locked in a plastic crate in the sun. The apartment had to be broken into to save the dog. This perfect dog owner then turned the dog loose in the neighborhood. Isaiah Rush was then EVICTED! That was LAST year! 

As a result the Franklin Dog Shelter knew Bruno was in danger from DAY ONE. So, dear Samantha Paython, don't try to sugarcoat this tragedy by repeating that: "Bruno had such a wonderful, wonderful life and so much love for those 172 days at the SHELTER!" because that doesn't mean that just because the shelter treated him well, it shouldn't be held accountable for entrusting Bruno to a KNOWN animal abuser and that we should forget about how much he suffered during those 3 months devastating and how much pain it took for him to finally inhale his last breath? Without couting his precious soul is no longer with us? That he could be in a lovely home relaxing on a bed and getting all the love, affection and cuddles he deserved?! NO WAY.  Don't try to bring the "it was his fate" speech on me. It's a negligence and an indifference without any justification. Shame on you and your twisted logic!!!!!! 

Too many dogs are dying by Director Kaye Persinger’s hands, so we DEMAND director be REPLACED and a change of process. It’s so ironic that Kaye makes rescue groups jump through all kinds of hoops to pull their supposed “rejects”, but adopters just have to show up, be breathing and show a driver’s licence or ID.

 I WANT JUSTICE even it this won’t bring the furry goofy soul that was Bruno back *angry tears*

What makes me mad is that Bruno probably had trusted this waste of oxygen. He was HOPEFUL of his new life, even happy especially after spending more nearly 6 MONTHS in a kennel. What is sure is that his HAPPINESS was SHORT LIVED, once he realised what kind of “human” his owner was. 
He begged for help, but no one came to save him�. “Humanity” failed him�. I just wish him all the happiness, love & tranquility he never experience during his life.
 

I’m writing this petition to also demand that every U.S. shelter screens adopters and controls them after the dogs are out through home visits etc…                               Also Isaiah Rush must be held accountable for ANIMAL TORTURE, ABUSE & CRUELTY. He must be thrown in jail and never be able to touch an animal or any other soulful living being. #JUSTICEFORBRUNO
