Axle was not "just a dog".

He was a living, breathing soul who trusted humans - and he died in a way no creature should ever experience.

A video circulating online shows Axle being beaten with a wooden bat in Sandanga, Mountain Province. He cried, he struggled, and he suffered. His life was taken violently, senselessly,  and without mercy.

This is more than animal cruelty - this is a heartbreaking act of brutality that shook people across the Philippines and around the world.

We cannot look away.

We cannot let this be forgotten.

We cannot allow Axle's suffering to be ignored simply because he had no voice.

We sign this petition to speak for Axle, because he cannot speak for himself. We sign this because his final moments should mean something, and his suffering must not be in vain.

We sign this because justice is not optional - IT IS NECESSARY.
