We, the undersigned, are calling for swift and decisive action in the investigation and prosecution of those responsible for the brutal murder of 15-year-old Achazia James. On the morning of August 18, 2024, Achazia was found on Runaway Beach in Antigua with severe injuries, including multiple chop wounds and a severed hand. Her murder has not only devastated her family but has sent shockwaves throughout the community, marking the tenth homicide in Antigua this year (*) (»).

Princess Margaret Secondary School, known for her determination to succeed despite the challenges she faced. Her teachers and peers remember her as a driven and honest young girl, full of potential. Her life was tragically cut short, and her family, especially her mother, Asabi Charles, are left griev ng and demanding justice for their daughter (»).

This petition seeks to ensure that lawv enforcement agencies remain committed to investigating this case thoroughly and that the perpetrators of this senseless crime are brought to justice. We also urge the government to address the rising crime rates in the country, which have left many residents feeling unsafe in their own communities
