45,000 supporters is an amazing level of support, and seeing these numbers truly does inspire us to keep pushing to find new and creative ways to affect change when things are at their most bleak. Thank you so much for that.
Others are taking notice as well. Many of you have already heard our regional NPR interview or read the accompanying article. However, more recently, we had national-level exposure when Morning Edition aired their own version of it. This is a huge step for us as it gives us an immense boost in credibility as a non-profit.
With this credibility comes the ability to expand our reach. While the ultimate target of this petition remains the US State Department, we have begun to eye potential allies in the political sphere. The more voices we have behind this, the louder our message becomes, so to that end I once again ask you to share, tweet and email this petition to help boost our ranks.
