THERE WERE LOTS OF SMILES AS PUBLIC OFFICIALS JUST ANNOUNCED RECORD PUBLIC FUNDING TO BOOST NEW JERSEY TRANSIT PROJECTS

Happy for commuters, but shouldn't federal officials first investigate the agency's inept handling - and premature closing - of Tiff's suspicious death case before opening its checkbook and handing out billions? 

Remember, NJT never asked the Feds (not NTSB nor FRA) for assistance in this highly suspicious case that was opened by transit police, then quickly closed (conveniently ruled a suicide). Why? What was behind its rush to judgement?
