Dear the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Filippo Grandi; the Deputy High Commissioner, Kelly T. Clements and the High Commissioner’s Representative in Greece, Maria Clara Martin;
I am 36-years old, a Civil Engineer, a beneficiary of international protection and a stateless person in exile for over 18-years who has been held Hostage and completely deprived of everything in Greece, including a livelihood and legal aid for over the past 8-hellish years.
We know for a fact that people won’t drown simply by falling into a river, but by staying submerged in it and that is exactly what the European Union, the Greek State and the United Nations and its Refugee Agency (UNHCR) have been trying to achieve for all these years. A complete exclusion and deprivation. With no income, no safety or stability, no future and not even enough food to survive.
Although I am not and have never been an enemy of Europe, but I suppose the opposite is and has always been true. Because I have been treated like an enemy right from the very moment I set foot on this continent in search of Refuge.
Who OR what am I now in Greece? Is not officially clear. A Refugee? A Hostage? A prisoner of war? OR a nobody with no identity at all who has been systematically deprived of everything and left alone to die? Nobody knows OR at least they all pretend that they don’t know. What is clear, though, is that I need urgent protection, and of course, a country that can offer me that, which certainly is not Greece and will never be Greece for sure.
Although, up to this date, UNHCR has not even acknowledged my presence and my prolonged protest in front of its main office in Athens, Greece, which began on March 21st, 2017 and continues to date, but you must already know that due to total lack of protection in Greece and as a result of my illegal deportation from Sweden back to this country in September 2015, I was faced with no other choice but to seek shelter at the doorsteps of the UNHCR office at my own expense where I have been requesting the organization’s urgent assistance in resolving my case without having to face any obstacles, fabricated difficulties OR having to appear before a Court on baseless accusations for trying to reach the UNHCR office.
In fact as the organization is well aware, my struggle in seeking a Durable Solution for my life begun in the year 2012 when I was already in exile for nearly a decade in Northern Iraq where my life was eventually unjustly and unjustifiably destabilized by the government of mafia (Kurdistan Regional Government, KRG) in the region in coordination with Iran’s evil regime and I was consequently forced into exile for the second time in less than a decade in the year 2014.
In association with one of the deviated Kurdish parties from Eastern Kurdistan (Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan, KDPI), the Barzani’s monarchist family and his vicious party (Kurdistan Democratic Party, PDK) are indeed the most responsible for the second destabilization of my life and forcing me into exile and making me a Refugee again.
Due to lack of essential documents (i.e. Passport) I could neither legally leave the region nor could I legally immigrate to another country such as Canada. All my documents for obtaining Iraqi citizenship and passport were disappeared by the affiliates of the same political parties mentioned above. But that didn’t stop there, because they also destroyed my career and even forced the company I was working for, to not pay many months of my salary. They also deliberately weaponized and arbitrarily revoked my lawfully obtained resident permit and told me to leave the region. ‘’We don’t care how; we don’t care where to’’ they told me at the end.
All my efforts in the region for reaching out to the Canadian embassies in Jordan and Turkey for enhancing my birth certificate to act as a passport went in vain. Both the United States and Canadian embassies have directed me to the local office of the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) in order to register with them and get help there. But regardless of the urgency and severity of the situation, the UNHCR office had completely mishandled my case (2012-2014). Hence, I was ultimately forced to leave the region in order to find Refuge elsewhere.
It is a sure thing that what had happened to me in Northern Iraq, did not simply just happen. It was brought about and if I am to lay the blame, I suspect Iran’s rogue and terrorist regime must have also been involved. I believe it was under the direct instructions and guidance of their notorious intelligence agency (VAJA) that the second destabilization of my life was plotted and being carried out. Because they were also responsible for vanishing some of the people I knew.
Several months after the 2nd destabilization of my life and in the hope of finding protection and a durable and sustainable solution for my life, and after surviving a deadly sea-crossing over the Aegean-Sea, I had eventually found myself on Europe’s shores in September 2014. But one year after my arrival to the continent and as a direct consequence of a shameful misdirection, false and incomplete information given to me by the UNHCR, NGOs and Asylum authorities in Greece I had suffered an illegal deportation from Sweden back to Greece about one year later in September 2015.
In Greece, I was initially instructed to register with the Asylum authorities here, then if admitted, I would get essential documents and would be able to leave and go wherever I wanted to permanently settle in Europe. ‘’They are very good people’’ I was being told, ‘’They understand how bad the situation is in Greece and they will never send you back here''.
But regardless, the Swedish Migration Agency had sent me back to Greece even without asking me a single question related to my Asylum request there. Allegedly they sent me back on the grounds of “Dublin Regulations” when in fact at the time Greece was not abiding by those Regulations. This was when even all the borders were temporarily open and people could freely leave Greece to reach the prosperous countries of Europe and seek Asylum there without having to rely on people smugglers OR without having to risk their lives OR having to take any dangerous routes.
Now, due to the Dublin Regulations, I will no longer be able to find protection anywhere in Europe. Also, due to the timing and geographical restrictions I was also being excluded from benefiting from the EU’s failed relocation program. That is why the only durable and sustainable solution with respect to my case would only be my Resettlement in another country outside this continent such as in Canada, the United States or Australia.
Although Refugees are the only group of people eligible for Resettlement, even in possession of the legal Status, they are not allowed to apply for Resettlement in another country on their own. According to the current legal-frameworks, Resettlement of individual Refugees would require the UNHCR involvement for the submission of their applications. Hence the reason why the Canadian, the United States and the Australian embassies in Greece have been continually referring me back to this organization for all these years every time I wrote to them or went to their embassies in person to request assistance.
However, as the UNHCR due to its own political agendas have been continually disregarding my repeated requests for help for nearly one and half a year from my illegal deportation from Sweden back to Greece in September 2015, and have even been claiming that it has nothing to do with Refugees’ Resettlement, I had therefore eventually left with no other choice but to announce a Hunger Strike and Protest at the doorsteps of the organization on March 21st, 2017.
Yet, rather than recognizing my rights, my access to the UNHCR office was immediately blocked by a Court order. A temporary injunction which was only valid for two to three months, yet has been abused to this date both by the organization and the Greek State to bring about all the miseries of the world upon my life, without ever allowing me to reach the organization.
A deleterious and diabolical blockage with the aim of possibly forcing me into taking illegal routes and leaving the continent through irregular means rather than available legal channels and if not, then to either force me into slavery in Greece or alternatively to impose a forced return on me.
This is when, all the so-called Human Rights and Humanitarian NGOs in Greece not only are refusing to offer legal aid OR any kind of services to my case, but seem to have also colluded with the Greek State in covering up my case and vilifying my character. These were the reasons for bringing the issues to the attention of the European Commission, the European Parliament and several of its Parliamentary Committees as well as two other Parliamentary Committees at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) on several occasions, yet my dire situation to this date continues to remain completely unresolved and unattended. UNHCR, on the other hand, is refusing to take any responsibilities. It has also completely lost perspective and compassion. Their approach instead is to drag the case on for as long as it takes till I would eventually die either of malnutrition or starvation without having to do anything about it. Due to trying to reach the UNHCR’s office, I have been subject to continued Physical assaults at the hands of the guards of the UNHCR’s building, the employees of the Organization, the people inside the UNHCR’s building and even the Hellenic Police. However, these deterrents and terrorizing measures have not been the only policies of the UNHCR in regards to my case. Because, I have as well suffered indefinite numbers of illegal detention in different Police facilities, trial after trial in the Court of Athens (Δικαστηριο Ευελπιδων) and illegal detentions in Refugee Camps, Police Stations and even prisons for the same reason. An illegal and torturous treatment continually being practiced in my case since my illegal deportation from Sweden back to Greece in September 2015. I am not living my own life and barely surviving, even though I haven’t done anything wrong. Yet, they deceived me here and continually use all the means within their reach to force me into silence while everyone pretends it is the way it should be. Why?
The Greek Police is regularly removing me from the doorsteps of the UNHCR’s building. Yet, in spite of doing so for far too many years, they still do not want to make a statement about this ongoing situation. ‘’We don’t care; your life doesn’t matter to us; go back to your country; why you came here; go kill yourself; remove your shelter from there and go die somewhere else’’ are examples of their short replies to my repeated requests for making a statement.
In one particular incident I was even targeted by a Passenger car in the Middle of the Street, opposite the UNHCR building while protesting there. This happened in the early days of my protest in 2017. A car intentionally hit me twice and simply ran away with impunity. Not only did the police ignore the incident, they passed me around like a soccer ball from one police station to another for two consecutive days without anyone ever filing a report. “Since you did not die from the accident, therefore this is not a crime worthy of investigation” they told me at the end.
In another horrific incident, which happened several years into my protest, I have been assaulted by as many as 5 Police officers on at least 5 different occasions during one of which they have even attempted to suffocate me with a pillow after exercising rape gesture on me and damaging my property. Perhaps an approximate replica of what happened to George Floyd in America, with the exception that I didn’t die from the Police assaults, at least not this time. This happened at the Syntagma Police Station on Wednesday, August 18th, 2021, shortly after they had removed me from the premises of the Australian embassy where I was hoping to get humanitarian assistance and mediation for resolving my dire situation in Greece. Additionally, so far, I have had up to 25-trials in the Court of Athens (Δικαστηριο Ευελπιδων) simply on the accounts of attempting to reach the UNHCR office and seeking a durable and sustainable solution for my life. (https://www.facebook.com/watch/HostageOfEurope/763107594533374/
As listed below, I have as well been practically imprisoned in 6-different prison facilities on 6-different occasions on the same accounts.
☐ By the Court Order, No. ‘’GAM-1800’’ from March 07th, 2018; I had to serve a 12-months (10%) prison sentence in the ‘’Closed Prison of Neapolis’’ from March 07th, 2018 to April 13th, 2018. I also suffered some Physical and verbal assaults in this prison while serving my sentence which were all orchestrated by the Police.
☐ As a result of an arbitrary decision by the Greek Police, citing being undocumented, I had to serve a 12-months (10%) prison sentence in the ‘’Amygdaleza Pre-Removal Detention facility’’ from May 02nd, 2018 to June 08th, 2018. I have been undocumented since March 19th, 2018, to date. One OR two days prior to this prolonged detention, I had also suffered multiple physical assaults at the hands of the guards of the UNHCR building as well as one of the employees of the UNHCR for trying to reach the Organization.
☐ By the Court Order, No. ‘’BAM-7091’’ from the year 2018 and by the Court Order No. ‘’BAM-8697’’ from the year 2018; I had to serve a 12-months plus 6-months (10%) prison sentences in the ‘’Closed Prison of Xania’’ from June 27th, 2018 to August 14th, 2018. I suffered multiple Physical Assaults in Xania. Those assaults, as well, were all orchestrated by the Police.
☐ By the Court Order, No. ‘’AAM-851’’ followed by a trial on February 08th, 2019 and the Court Order No. ‘’GAM-1800’’ from February 27th, 2018; I had to serve a 6-months plus 8-months (10%) prison sentence in the ‘’Closed Prison of Kos’’ from February 06th, 2019 to March 14th, 2019. I suffered multiple Physical Assaults at the hands of the Police during serving these sentences. My Cell Phone (Samsung Galaxy S6 Gold) was also stolen by the Police.
☐ By the Court Order, No. ‘’BAM-4403’’ followed by a trial on May 15th, 2019; I had to serve a 6-months (10%) prison sentence in the ‘’Closed Prison of Naflplyo’’ from May 15th, 2019 to June 06th, 2019. I was also assaulted by the Police upon my removal from the doorsteps of the UNHCR office on May 02nd, 2019.
☐ As a result of another arbitrary decision by the Greek Police; citing being undocumented, I had to serve a 14-months (10%) prison sentence in the basement of the ‘’Ambelokipi Police Station’’ from June 24th, 2022 to August 05th, 2022. This happened on day 285 of my 3rd Hunger Strike outside the UNHCR office when I had once again left my shelter and went to the U.S. embassy in Athens in person to seek urgent humanitarian assistance and mediation for resolving my case. ☐ These are in addition to the fact that each time they take me to the Court, they also keep me in detention for 2 to 3-days (25 X 2 = 50 days OR 25 X 3 = 75 Days) that according to the Greek laws, would also be equivalent to almost two years of imprisonment.
As part of this systematic and utterly inhumane treatment, they also vanished my shelters on 5 different occasions with all my belongings in it. Vanishing of my shelter, each time cost me over 500 Euros. In the meantime, as part of a continued cover-up campaign by the Greek State, the NGOs and the UNHCR, my internet was cut, one of my Phones (Samsung Galaxy S6 Gold) was stolen by the Police, my second Phone (Samsung Galaxy S8 Edge) was confiscated by the State and my third and fourth Phones (both ZTE) have been destroyed by the Police.
Furthermore, for over the past 8-hellish years I have been completely deprived, singled out and excluded from everything, including a livelihood, legal aid and the cash assistance (100 to 150 Euros) which is provided to most of the other Refugees in this country.
Having completely run out of funds, my own past savings and followed by the destruction of my 4th and 5th shelters outside the UNHCR office respectively on Friday, May 29th, 2020; and Friday, June 19th, 2020; I was practically forced into my 2nd prolonged Hunger Strike at the doorsteps of this UN Agency which began on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2020.
My 2nd-Hunger Strike was carried out under the most inhumane, degrading and undignified conditions, besides a busy street, without a shelter, on the pavement and in the nasty and sickening dust, under the extreme heat of Athens’ summer temperature, almost the whole summer, some days even without enough drinking water, which ultimately led to formation of Gallstones in my Gallbladder leading to my first and second hospitalizations in two different hospitals due to Gallstone attacks which continues to date. Although doctors warned if these attacks become frequent, they could be fatal and consequently recommend surgery for the complete removal of my Gallbladder, but the operation was never arranged.
Having returned back to my protest site outside the UNHCR office shortly after Greece’s strict Covid-19 lock down restrictions were lifted in May 2021, I found myself without shelter again for the second summer in a row. Because UNHCR, rather than assisting with my accommodation and/or helping with my survival, kept calling the police on me instead and sent me to detention every day for sleeping rough outside its office without shelter. To avoid being detained every day for hours, I was ultimately left with no other choice but to look for another place to spend the nights at. The bushes outside in the yard of the National Library of Greece also known as the Stavros Niarchos Multi-Cultural Center (SNFCC) was the only place I could find. This was where I was sleeping rough every night and suffering from ants, rats and mosquitoes for the whole summer of 2021, before I could finally manage to place my 6th Shelter outside the UNHCR office by the end of the summer on Tuesday, August 31st, 2021. The placement of my 6th-shelter outside the UNHCR office came with a lot of delays first and foremost due to lack of sufficient funds/donations and secondly because of an obstacle, a traffic cone, which was purposely installed exactly at the same very spot where all my previous shelter(s) were used to be and my current shelter is placed now. Shorty after the erection of my 6th Shelter outside the UNHCR office and due to lack of sufficient funds/donations to sustain my life I was practically forced into undergoing my 3rd Hunger Strike outside this UN Agency which began on Tuesday, September 14th, 2021, and lasted for 285 days before it was interrupted at the entrance of the U.S. Embassy by the Greek Police on Friday, June 24th, 2022, as a result of their arbitrary decision for my detention at the basement of the Ambelokipi Police Station from that day forward to Friday, August 05th, 2022, (42-days) without leading to any resolution of my case. Given my already critical health condition, it should be abundantly clear that entering my 4th Hunger Strike same as the three previous Hunger Strikes, is not and was never a choice, but rather something that is being forced on me, particularly that even my survival to date since the break of my 2nd-Hunger Strike (73-days long) on September 03rd, 2021, have only been possible by relying on other people’s little Donations coming from abroad which have also ran out.
Counting the number of days from my first (64-days – March 21st, 2017 to May 23rd, 2017), second (73-days – Tuesday, June 23rd, 2020, to Thursday, September 03rd, 2020), third (285-days – Tuesday, September 14th, 2021, to Friday, June 24th, 2022) and fourth (38-days and counting) Hunger Strikes here, thus far I have been on 460+ days-long Hunger Strike since the start of my protest outside the UNHCR office on March 21st, 2017. A lifetime of patience, sacrifice and tolerance; all in the hope of finding a durable and sustainable solution to my life through the so-called available legal channels.
Yet, regrettably despite all these many days, weeks and months of Hunger Strikes and continued protests which I have endured under the most degrading and inhumane conditions right at the doorsteps of the office of the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR), the same people who claim to be standing with and helping Refugees, my dire situation to this date continues to remain completely unresolved and unattended.
What pains me even more is that everyone, including all those who Can/Could have offered me Asylum and Protection without necessarily the need for UNHCR’s involvement, still are all continuing to pointing me to this the most uncaring organization I have ever encountered in my whole life and mockingly expect me to find help there.
These are the kind of people a Refugee has to deal with in the most difficult times of his life, sometimes even when he struggles for basic needs for his survival. It’s a bitter and unfortunate irony that rather than saviors they have indeed effectively become our murderers. But is there really anyone out there who would really understand this OR even gives a damn about it?
The most tragic of all is that they consider this kind of treatment to be “Humanitarian” and ruthlessly expect us to think of it this way. If this is what being a Humanitarian looks like, I cannot imagine what would have become of them if they were non-humanitarian OR what they would have done to the world OR to the people who would have gone to them to seek help. Unspeakable atrocities? But what they are doing to me, isn’t an atrocity on its own?
Has UNHCR become a tormentarian organization as opposed to a humanitarian one? An organization that destroying the lives and livelihoods of Refugees, their hopes and futures has become its habits with its new and unannounced mandate of lying to, denying and deceiving this the most vulnerable group of people; Refugees, in a foreign land, away from their homes and their countries; in favor of others, perhaps their bosses in the west. An organization, possibly with a secret agenda of ultimately turning Refugees into worthless, unwanted and disposable beings who would willingly submit to slavery in the west.
And why are the United Nations and its Refugee Agency (UNHCR) doing all these things to me? Has this organization been paid OR rather bribed by someone OR some entity from somewhere to do this to me? What is your agenda and how am I supposed to live like this? Is it so hard to understand that you don’t own me and that I am not your slave? That I didn’t seek Refuge to pay and suffer. That you cannot decide for my life OR tell me where to be, what to be or how to live.
In over the past 8-hellish years of my prolonged imprisonment in Greece, the Greek State hand in hand with the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) have continually and egregiously violated all of their international obligations under the 1951 Geneva Convention, the European Human Rights Convention and two other international conventions as listed below:

Refugees do not have any obligations to stay in a country with no functioning asylum system, no protection of any kind and no security at all. I did not seek Refuge to pay and suffer nor did I agree OR sign on any paper to become a slave in Greece. Because more OR less this is nothing but a clear example of slavery. Am I not in charge of my own life? You do not get to decide for my life and have no rights and cannot force me to stay in a place OR in a country where no protection of any kind is available to me and this oppression must end now.
I am seeking to be granted a safe passage OR a legal way of entry to a country of Asylum outside this continent (i.e. Canada, the United States OR Australia) OR to be Resettled in one of these countries urgently. My needs for Resettlement OR obtaining a safe passage is rightful, legit and legal. My case already fulfills at least three of the Resettlement Criteria. Those criteria are, legal and physical protection needs, survivor of violence and torture, and lack of local integration prospects.
I cannot afford to let my rights be infringed upon any longer, nor can I tolerate any other Physical assaults directed at me at the doorsteps of the UNHCR office by various entities only because I am trying to reach the organization and need its assistance. And whereas this request falls within the scope the UNHCR’s mandate, I am therefore hereby once again urging the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) to put an end to its years of uncooperative, irresponsible and evasive attitudes towards my case, an attitude which has already left catastrophic and irreversible damages on my life. Thus, simply to do its job and take immediate actions towards resolving this ongoing atrocity and over 8-years long deadlock in my case and the endless torment imposed on me in this country for this many years.
I am unable to find and secure a Group of Private Sponsors in Canada. None of Canada’s Refugee Sponsorship Agreement Holders (SAHs) are willing to lend their support to my case. Examples of their responses to my repeated appeals continually addressed to them from 2013 to 2020 are disclosed in the link that follows. Moreover, the Canadian embassy in Italy returned my Resettlement application back to me in 2017, because it didn’t go along with a Resettlement Referral from the UNHCR office. Similarly, none of Australia’s Approved Proposing Organizations (APOs) , which are a group of organizations mandated with helping Refugees’ Resettlement in Australia through their Community Support Program (CSP), are willing to lend their support to my case. And due to lack of a Resettlement Referral from the UNHCR office, Australia has also rejected my Refugee Visa (Class XB) application submitted to them in July 2019. Accordingly, in light of all the above, I am pleading with the UNHCR again to urgently find a resolution to this ongoing Hostage taking in Greece by considering to act on one of the following practical and rational propositions:
1)- First and foremost to find a Durable Solution to my case urgently and thereby put an end to my prolonged imprisonment and complete deprivation in Greece. In this case, a Durable Solution means my immediate Resettlement outside Europe, such as in Canada, the United States or Australia.
2)- Immediate and constant Fundraising support in order to help with my survival in Greece till a resolution is found to my case. (https://chng.it/GSfTWPrcnX
3)- If UNHCR does not intend to resolve my case through its office in Greece, then it must help find a solution to it by other means. For example, issuing an official letter that would explain UNHCR’s reason(s) for this decision which should also include clear information and instruction about which office of the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) and where would be the best office to handle my case in a timely and efficient manner and why. UNHCR must also coordinate a safe and immediate transition to that office.
4)- Otherwise, UNHCR is kindly asked to coordinate a meeting between delegates of one of the following countries, Canada, the United States OR Australia, in order to help negotiate a safe passage and my rights to let me settle there. UNHCR can also consider issuing a public appeal addressed to the Asylum and Immigration authorities of these countries in order to encourage them to consider granting me Asylum, entry to their territory OR alternatively to accept a Refugee Resettlement application from me without a Resettlement referral from the UNHCR office.

In the past 8-hellish years, the Greek State and the UNHCR have deliberately brought all the miseries of the world upon my life, stole OR helped to steal not only over 8-years of my life and all my valuables, but have also taken away all my dignity and honor. This is the furthest from being humanitarian and the very antithesis of what the UNHCR was mandated to do. What the organization is currently doing is nothing but an outright murder and a targeted assassination. This will never be forgotten and will never be forgiven.
The fact of the matter is that, not only do I have no protection in Greece, but also there is a lot more dignity and honor in killing people straight away rather than what has been practiced in my case in this country for all these years.
The Greek State must stop its illegal practice of capture and release and instead must take urgent action for my temporary transfer to a deportation camp, also known as Pre-Removal Detention Center, and to keep me there for as long as it takes until a durable solution becomes available to my case through the UNHCR office for my immediate removal from Greece and for my Resettlement/Readmission in another country outside this continent (i.e. Canada, the United States OR Australia). For far too many years, I have suffered too much at the hands of Iran’s evil regime and the government of the mafia (Kurdistan Regional Government, KRG) in northern Iraq. Enough of Europe and the United Nations’ oppression.
Europe has taken far more from me than it has the power to give back. This 8-years-long Hostage taking in Greece must end now. Greece and the European Union must urgently release me from their fake protection, apologize and compensate me for the amount of immeasurable and irreparable damages (i.e. physically, emotionally, economically, etc.) they had so unjustly and unjustifiably inflicted on my life and in accordance with the ‘’EU Directive 2001-51-EC’’ grant me a safe passage to a country of Asylum outside Europe and let me go urgently and stop damaging and hindering my life any further.
I also once again call on the international community and whoever else received a copy of this email (CC OR BCC), to take a stance against this ongoing atrocity in Greece and do whatever they can to help find a resolution to it urgently. Because in Greece they have now literally weaponized Food and Water to starve me to death and cover it up.
UNHCR has to come to its senses and put an end to this endless humiliation, degradation and torture. I didn’t seek Refuge to pay and suffer. Refugees are not slaves, our lives matter too.
I will hold into account all the entities involved in my prolonged imprisonment in Greece and for all the irreparable damages done to my life so far and for any other harm that comes to it from this day forward.
If, however, my death from starvation and continued Hunger Strikes was inevitable, I am formally requesting to be cremated and the ashes of my body be poured into the Aegean Sea to symbolize that I wish I had never made it to this ugly place in search of refuge.
I am truly terrorized by the UNHCR, by the people inside the UNHCR’s building and also by the Greek Police. I am extremely tired, exhausted and almost dying. I fear for my life, my safety and well-being.
Stop hurting me anymore, do your job, find me Asylum and put an end to this endless torment and my prolonged imprisonment in Greece now.
Nothing like this should happen to anyone, anywhere and no one should be put through a situation like this.
This is a dire emergency. Please do not be indifferent and ignorant to what is happening here and act now.
