Day 194th of my 3rd #HungerStrike Outside UNHCR Office — Outcome of My Appeal to International Omni Hotels and Resorts for Donations.

As my dire situation outside the UNHCR office in Athens, Greece still continues, so is my 3rd Hunger Strike here, which has been the ultimate price I have paid so far in pursuit of #Justice and #Freedom for my life.

Since my complete deprivation, including from basic necessities, livelihood and everything else, is still going on, I end up with a overwhelming struggle, stress and anxiety on a daily basis caused by my worries about my survival and also my continued failures in securing an emergency grant in support of my cause.

Although, in the absence of reliable help from Greece, I have been left with no other choice but to turn to other places for help, but my endeavors in this regard also doesn’t seem to pay off either. Because generally I am either not getting any answers at all or even if I do, it’s just not helpful at all.

Due to lack of any help from the so-called International Human Rights and Philanthropic Organizations, Charities and Foundations, recently I also turned to the Private Sectors for help which at this point mostly includes International Civil and Construction Companies and also International Hotels.

That of course in addition to dozens of other Hotels across Greece, which so far not a single one of them has responded to my appeals for Donations. But, knowing the Greeks mentality towards Refugees, this was somewhat expected.

Moreover, at this point I have also not received any replies from any of the International Civil Engineering and Construction Companies I have so far reached out to.

However, one of those International Hotels which is called “Omni Hotels a Resorts” and has numerous properties throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico and also runs a special Donation program, sent me a reply two days ago in which it declined to offer any help to my cause.

They sent a semi long reply, but here I am only quoting the second paragraph of it and as for the rest, if interested to find out what they talked about, please refer to the attached screenshot.

In the second paragraph of their long reply, which was the core of their response to my appeal, they wrote “Omni Hotels and Resorts appreciate the importance of your mission. However, we have already committed our charitable dollars to other organizations and must unfortunately decline your request.”

With this information in mind, and given the urgent need for assistance, I ask all those who wish to join my efforts in this regard to do so without hesitation.

In this place, even taking a shower costs me money, even though due to being undocumented since March 19th, 2018, I can’t really rent a Hotel Room for this purpose, even if it means for one night only. Since the start of my 3rd Hunger Strike on Tuesday, September 14th, 2021, so far I could only manage to take a shower once, and that’s thanks to some of those places rented to people smugglers in Akharnon Street. Believe it or not; that’s the only place I could get a room at least for one night without having to provide or being asked for a valid form of ID.

Additionally, due to the same financial restraints I am experiencing here, I have also been without Internet for approximately two months. I am currently relying on a poor Wifi network belonging to one of the neighbors far away from my shelter in order to stay online.

I wonder where my genuine supporters are, if there really is anyone, to help me out in this extraordinary difficult time?

I fear for my life, my safety and well-being.
