Having had another sleepless and rough night in the bushes outside in the yard of the National Library of Greece, suffering from ants, rats and mosquitoes and itchy feet and legs from insect bites, I arrived back again at the doorsteps of the UNHCR office at 13:00 O'clock in order to seek the organization’s urgent assistance for my Resettlement and a durable and sustainable solution to my dire situation. I am also in urgent need of proper accommodation and survival aid.
This week I have been at Michalakoupoulou 91 between 13:00 O'clock to 18:00 OR 19:00 O'clock every day in order to reach UNHCR and see a representative from the organization concerning the continuation of these 7 years long Hostage taking in Greece.
Although since Monday the receptionist was at least my message every day to get it to the UNHCR, but today, Friday, August 13th, 2021, he neither opened the door to let me reach the organization nor took my message himself. In fact, just moments after my second failed attempt of trying to talk to the reception from behind closed doors and while I was back sitting beside my banner, I was surrounded by the Police again.
While still at the door of UNHCR, I asked the Police to get my message to the Organization instead. While I highly doubt if they did, I cannot tell for sure whether they transferred it OR not, but what is certain, though was them telling me they would solve my issue today, which at the end turned out to be nothing, but just another lie told by the Police that recently I keep hearing a lot.
Moments after inspecting my belongings on the pavement at the door of the UNHCR, a Patrol car arrived, they asked me to follow them and go to the Police Station where they would solve the problem, but soon after I got in the Police Car, they took my Phone.
Having Arrived at the Police Station, they told me I would never leave, which was the exact opposite of what they said at the doorsteps of the UNHCR. Hence, as this had been their practice for the past several years, they held me again in custody at the Police Station for several hours before I was being let go again.
I was taken from the doorsteps of the UNHCR around 14:00 o’clock It was released from Police Custody in about 18:00 O'clock.
There are fates worse than death. Not only they have handed me one, but in fact, kept me in such a horrific state of nightmare day and night for the past 7 hellish years. They took away every shred of my dignity and honor and now are coming after my life.
I fear for my life, my safety and well-being.
Please spread the word and show that you care and therefore not indifferent to what is happening here. So that the UNHCR can come to its senses and take urgent action for resolving my dire situation by referring my case for Resettlement in another country (i.e. Canada, U.S. OR Australia) and also to seek compensation for all the damages (i.e. Physically, economically and emotionally) they have so ruthlessly and unjustifiably inflicted upon my life in Greece for the past 7 hellish years.
Nothing like this should happen to anyone, anywhere and no one should be put through a situation like this.
This is a dire emergency. Please do not be indifferent and ignorant to what is happening here and take action now.
