At the doorsteps of the UNHCR this morning, Tuesday, May 18, 2021, I set up my Roll Up Banner and was looking forward to seeing some solidarity and support from people in support of my online petition. But I found myself all alone by myself.
Just moments after setting up my Banner Police has arrived to the scene and while I was sitting and waiting to for people, civil solidarity in particular to show some solidarity and support to this ongoing cause, the two Police Officer approached me in a manner as if I was a criminal of some sort, began twisting my Arms and wouldn't let go till they took my phone away from me, so I couldn't record what was happening.
Afterwards they took me to the Police Station where they demanded access to my phone to see what had been recorded and to delete the videos afterwards. I didn't open my phone. They didn't take me to a deportation camp OR keep me there at their Police Station and eventually let go of me after holding me there for about 1-hour in that dirty little cell they put me in, every time they take me to that Police Station. They also refused to make a Statement about these years long illegal practice of capture and release.
Even after these so many years, still this is what they continue to do to me and to my life. Undocumented, without shelter, without food and without money. Yet rather than getting help and support I almost get my Arms broken for doing a peaceful assembly to collect signatures to my Petition. Can anyone explain to me why?
I am so very terrified of these people. Traumatized in fact. My heart starts racing every time I go there OR when planing on going there at the doorsteps of the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) to ask for help. So much for being Humanitarian. So much for standing with Refugees and so much for Human Rights. Could they be the scam of the earth OR they are just being paid to do what they are doing to me.
Please help in boosting this petition in order to get as many signatures as possible.
Thank you so very much for your solidarity and support.
