Due to countless interactions I have had with the Hellenic Police during years of my continued protest at the doorsteps of the UNHCR Office in Athens, Greece, dozens of which led to court appearances at the Court of Athens and many prison sentences so unjustly I had consequently had to serve for no other reason other than trying to reach the UNHCR in search of a Durable and sustainable solution for my life, I have been required to give presence each month at the Ambelokipi Police Station which is the nearest one to the UNHCR office, where I am staying.

However, there had been times that giving presence there haven’t been without an incident. On Friday, March 05th. 2021, the two Police officers on duty which both knew me, didn’t allow me to sign the papers and just wanted to send me away without a justified reason. They told me that I had to get back there the day after in order to sign the papers. However, because I didn’t want to experience another problem on the top of the existing one the next day, due to the time limitations being placed on signing those papers, I had therefore tried to either get a note OR at least the name of the other Police Officer on duty the next day. But rather than being served in a civilized manner, I had been assaulted and being made to return back another day.

The video I made regarding this issue will also include the audio records of the above incident. I have the audio records of all other incidents as well, but for the purpose of keeping the video short, especially now that I am without shelter, without electricity and etcetera, I didn’t include other audios in this video. If need be, those recordings could be made available to those who might have an interest in them.

The day after when I went back to the Police Station to sign those papers, this time they wouldn’t let me reach the office and were asking for identification documents right at the entrance of the building. Clearly this was yet another orchestrated effort in harassing me even further. I was only able to get passed the entrance and reach the fourth floor of the building, when one of those patrol Police officers who was personally responsible for several of the Hundreds of the occasions I had been removed from the doorsteps of the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), arrived at the Police Station and told the other Police Officer to let me enter the building. The other police officer who was preventing my entry also knew me, yet he pretended that he didn’t.

In addition to the above-mentioned experience, I had once again been sent away by the officers on duty at the fourth floor of the Ambelokipi Police Station on Wednesday, May 06th, 2021, for no real reason. They sent me away just like this, and told me to get back there the next day in order to sign the papers for them. They were also not serving anyone else at the time, so to say, to use that as an excuse for sending me away.

The day after however, they wouldn’t let me sign two of the papers and cited my lateness. They said I can only sign one of the three papers which can be signed within the first 10 days of each month, while the two others within the first 5-days of each month. It wasn’t easy to convince the officers on duty to allow me sign all the papers, when I had the right to do so as I was there the day before, for the same very reason and had already informed the Police officer of that. I had to present several arguments to them, in order to convince them to contact two other officers on duty from the day before to validate my attendance.

Eventually and after being through all that, I was at last allowed to sign all the papers. If one fails in signing the papers on time, they would be taken to the court and would also be sentenced and be made to serve time in prison.

Simple, they use each and every single opportunity, to criminalize people like me, and if they were not given an opportunity, they wouldn’t hesitate to fabricate one, all on their own. Which is what they have been so ruthlessly doing to me in this country for so many years.

The world’s inactions towards countless atrocities they are and have been committing against us, the Refugees, and particularly myself, Hostage Of Europe, here in this country, have emboldened them to do whatever they want, and this is getting worse and worse, as If we are not humans at all, deserve no dignity, safety OR prosperity and thus have no rights to live. Please do not be a part of it.
