Collecting signatures from Juneau residents - including Local 52 members, state workers, and public supporters - in favor of quick and efficient passage of HB 300 through the Alaska House State Affairs Committee. HB 300 is an Act which would effectively increase the meals and incidental expense allowance for state employees (e.g., from $60/day to $82/day for full on-duty, short-term travel outside the employee’s duty station).

This is far from the official place/means to show your support. However, upon delivery of verbal testimony to the House State Affairs Committee during a hearing scheduled for April 23, 2026, I intend to bolster the impact of my testimony by providing signatures collected from my local Juneau community!
