President Biden Step Up and Do the Right Thing in Afghanistan

Dear President Biden,
When you announced your decision, I did not understand it, and I still do not understand at all your decision to pull out of Afghanistan.

Thousands of women and young girls, young boys are now at risk of rape, torture and death. They will be denied all of their rights as human beings.

Individuals who have worked in the fields of archaeology, conservation of monuments, teachers, news anchors, women's rights groups, hair and nail salons, students, LGBQ individuals who might have felt safe to come out, the list is endless, all of these people, all of them you have given a death sentence to by taking this decision. All of these people will be brutally disposed of, they will be dragged from the back of pick up trucks, stoned, beheaded, electrocuted, raped no matter the gender and age, they will be silenced for ever.
The Taliban do not originate from Afghanistan, they originate from Pakistan. This is not business as usual for Afghans, this is not a mere going back to some obscure time that might have been Afghanistan, this is an invasion and a murderous assault on an entire nation, a way of life, a society that was barely getting back on its feet. The people of Afghanistan do not want the Taliban there, they never have. 

Be a President that will be remembered for doing the right thing, the human one.
Be brave, be smart. The destiny of millions is in your hands.
