Our names are Juliana and Olivia. We are in sixth grade and live in California.  We would like to address the issue of deforestation. According to Global Forest Watch data, California lost the most tree canopy of any state in the U.S. not just over the last year, but over the last five and 10 years as well.  Also, we would like to talk about the issue of deforestation in Bolivia and Brazil. Burger King buys soy from its suppliers Cargill and Bunge to use as animal feed. However, the land cleared to make soy plantations used to be lush forests with many native animals. We would like to put a stop to that. Nearly every minute, 20 footballfields of trees are being cut down, and that is NOT okay. We hope that you will sign our petition to raise awareness of our cause, deforestation. Thank you.
