Jorge Ramos, in an "effort to inform" viewers and voters, you published a disclosure to Fusion's website stating that your daughter, Paola, will be employed by the Hillary Clinton campaign for the 2016 election cycle. I put "effort to inform" in quotes in reference to the disclosure being published at 4pm on a Friday -- the classic time for those looking to have something buried away in the press. I would venture to say that the vast majority of your viewers, and viewers of the first democratic primary debate on October 13th, which you will be moderating, have no idea about this conflict of interest (after all, Hillary's success is in some respect your daughter's success). It is for this reason that I ask, if you are fully committed to honesty and transparency in the political process, you open the debate by simply informing the live television audience about your daughter's affiliation and be truthful about what that affiliation means to you. Deception is a large problem in politics and we count on the media to be the ones who clear these things up. As an enormous media voice for hispanic and latino-Americans, I know you will do the right thing and re-disclose.
