Johnny Depp has never received an Oscar for any of his amazing performances.!
The Issue
Johnny Depp has yet to receive an Oscar! Let’s give a shout out of support! Around 1987 Johnny Depp visited my classroom when I was in middle school and I got to meet a very sincere, genuine, down-to-earth, kind-hearted soul. This was when he was doing 21 Jumpstreet. I have enjoyed his fabulous acting throughout the years, but it is not until recently that I became aware he has yet to receive an Oscar. Johnny Depp and I may be the only ones left who haven’t watched the Pirates of the Caribbean series, but it sounds like he is continuing his legacy of astounding acting. From watching his testimony online, it is awe-inspiring how he learnt how to develop the character of Captain Jack Sparrow. It sounds like another Oscar performance, but at any rate, next time the opportunity is there, it’s time to honour Johnny Depp for what he has long deserved. His testimony online also shows insight into his career which, given how he began acting and why, along with his humble attitude, shows in itself his born talent which has yet to be fully acknowledged by The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Music. His amazing movies include Platoon, Public Enemies, What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, Pirates of the Caribbean series, Edward Scissorhands, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Blow, Black Mass, Sleepy Hollow, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Finding Neverland, Donnie Brasco, Cry-Baby, Dead man, Benny and June, Alice in Wonderland, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Ed Wood, Once Upon a Time in Mexico, Into the Woods, Murder on the Orient Express, Corpse Bride, Don Juan DeMarco, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Arizona Dream, Rango, The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus, Dark Shadows, Secret Window, Chocolat, Before Night Falls, From Hell, The Rum Diary, Nick of Time, The Libertine, The Ninth Gate, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, Transcendence, The Astronauts Wife, The Man Who Cried, Alice Through the Looking Glass, Sherlock Gnomes, The Tourist, Private Resort, Lone Ranger, Mordecai, and other works.
