An email from the Wildlife Show presenter and naturalist Chris Packham who has asked me to quote the following from him with reference to the environmental audit, which Mr Hodge is claiming has been undertaken on the site and has led him to the conclusion that, "THERE IS NOTHING OUT THERE! Chris says: ‘I’ve never heard such nonsense as areas of natural , undeveloped land being devoid of life . Maybe they lack vast herds of Wildebeests , or Elephants , or even most modest species such as deer , but I can assure you categorically that such environments are thriving ecological communities and as such are incredibly important places , resources and reserves . As such they need protecting , every last one of them is worth fighting for . . . because there are so few left’ . Chris Packham
