The lawyers have challenged the Council over their procedures and refused to accept their dismissal of the facts presented. We have been able to show the developers and WC that we are serious in our opposition thanks to all the donations to the Save Old Sarum legal fund. We are awaiting WC's response to the latest letter and will decide what action to be taken following that. Clearly, if it requires to be taken further, this cannot be done without addition funding and all our continued support. To date, Buxton's have reduced their costs and tailored their actions to the amount of donations received. They are an ethical firm who specialise in this field and will not incur any unnecessary costs to our group.
