Hello Everyone, I'm back with yet another update. And while I have to admit, I did not see this coming, its definitely something that most of you probably know about. But for those of you who have been living under a rock, the Eagles have postponed receiving the Kennedy Center Honors until next December, 2016 due to Glenn Frey having surgery for intestinal problems. Before I go any further, I do want to sincerely wish Glenn a speedy recovery from surgery. With that being said, this means we have another year and a half in order to really grow our campaign and allow ourselves more of an opportunity to let the Kennedy Center Honors board of directors know that people really want to see the former band members honored alongside the current members. We need to start capitalizing on this NOW! If we can get to over 10,000 signatures by August 31st of next year, then I will submit our petition to the Kennedy Center Honors and request a response in regards to this. As it turns out in the press release, Eagles spokesmen only disclose the current band members as those who are attending. Please keep sharing this petition. I am continuing my efforts to bring more media attention to this cause but the more shares this petition gets, the more likely I'll hear back from journalists within the music industry who want to hear more about our efforts.
