First, I would like to personally thank every one of the almost 30,000 people who took the time to support Noe and his family. Second, I want you all to know that Noe and his parents are safe after Hurricane Harvey. And last but not least, I learned today from Noe's family's attorney, Norma Sepulveda, that Noe's parents have received the approval of their request for "Deferred Action" from USCIS, and can safely take him to the surgery that he so desperately needs, and which had to be rescheduled because of their inability to travel without the threat of detention and deportation.
