Dear Mr. President

If there’s even the smallest of chances…..

Joe, we love you and appreciate ALL you’ve done throughout your excellent career.  It’s safe to say you have folks on both sides of the aisle that would tell you the same thing .  

But now, we desperately need you to realize the best thing you could do for your country, is to step aside. In addition to your presidency and stellar career prior to becoming president, by stepping down you will end on the highest of notes and go down in history as saving our fragile Democracy as we know it in 2024. You will be a great hero of the 21st century.

Between all the lies, conspiracy theories, infringements on rights, Supreme Court "decisions", literal crap, and the threat of both Trump and Project 2025, we CANNOT take any unnecessary chance in losing the presidential election.

NONE! ZERO! 

Unfortunately - you present a high risk in losing this election.  And, to be fair - this risk presented itself long before last week's debate.

Imagine, if you will, your great, great, great grand daughter arrives in the Oval office, from the future and by way of a time machine. She's frantic as she tells you of the destruction and horrors she has witnessed in her lifetime. She details the Hitler like regime that was launched in 2025 and from that, how a apocalyptic world was born. She goes on to say how all this is traced back directly to you standing pridefully in place as the Democratic nominee of 2024.  You stubbornly, and yes, even with a bit delusion opted to stay in the race thinking you could win, despite everyone hoping and gently asking you to simply step aside.  

As an agent of the future she demands, for the sake of humanity, YOU  step aside or the US and World as we know it will suffer a deadly fate and horror that only Hollywood movies can manufacture.  

It’s not hard for any of us to have this as our nightmare each night. You need to realize we are all scared to death of risk you present. 

Sure others stepping in place for you present risk as well - but no one brings as much risk to losing the presidential race and all democratic party downstream initiatives and ballots as you.  It pains us to think that, to say that, but if you could consider for just a minute, this is the painful reality:  you are more of a risk than you are a viable candidate.

Please do not hand us Trump and Project 2025 on a great silver platter by sticking around.  

Please leave on that high note. You’ve had a terrific run - let that and stepping aside to save Democracy be your legacy

Please, we are all begging you, do not tarnish your record by being the guy that handed us a ruthless, vengeful, morally-corrupt, shameless, convicted felon as president. One that will be a dictator and will be using the Project 2025 manifesto as his playbook.  

Please, for the the love of US Democracy, the United States, for the world, for all that is good and right, for humanity's sake, listen to this fictional grand child, please step aside.  

And, please do it NOW!
