Hi, My son Tony has attended a local school with a ASD unit for his education . Tony is in 6th class at the moment . In his unit there are 3 friends including Tony that are leaving next June . Tony nor his two friends has secured a place yet in a secondary school. We have been told no places to be got in Kildare . We have sent in applications to the local schools with the ASD unit attached and was refused as no places available next year. This includes prosperous Naas celbridge . To no avail we cannot get a place . So what Is my son to do ? Does he education suddenly stop �???. 
he is entitled to a school place just like every other child here in Ireland ��. He is entitled to an education just like every other child here in Ireland , but sadly that’s not so . All across Kildare and other county’s there are lack of school places . WHY WHY is this ?? As you the board of education have had 8 long years to come up with a school as to which they could attend . I don’t hold any teacher or principal responsible for this crisis .. oh no I hold the board of Education responsible and this Joke of a Government . You have no idea what This feels like , unless it happens to a family member or child . It’s heartbreaking wanting just for your child to have a decent education in a proper environment that will give him life skills that he needs . I’m disgusted that I have to send this .
