The long story of this place turns full circle and once again, our vocation returns to building community that unites people, nature, culture. On a site renown for ranching, riding, wild west movies, within a young Sonoran Desert forest, birds sing. Inspiring homes cluster, powered by sun, watered by rain. A Center for music, art, craft, recreation and celebration welcomes. The land is deftly shaped to carry stormwater safely to plants, scars of erosion and neglect disappear. Here is a chance to design development that values place-making, healing, bringing together the things that make us want to call a place home. Here is a place to share a model of how our region can evolve and aspire to truly value this land, its people, our hope, our history and future.
