North Lanarkshire Council have proposed closure of the Kilbowie outdoor activity centre in Oban.

All primary 7 school children attend the centre for five days where they do team building and outdoor activities with their peers and other school children who will attend secondary school with them.

Attending Kilbowie is a rite of passage for kids and is crucial for emotional intelligence and resilience building.

The children going through primary school look forward to this trip, their first time away from parents and family.

It's not acceptable for the council to cut funding that affects our children.

Children deserve better than this.
