I just wanted to take a moment and express my thanks to everybody that supported this cause. City Councilmember Pierreluigi Oliverio, State Senator Jim Beall and his fantastic staff, Caltrans, The Santa Clara County Sheriffs Department, and especially all the men from the Weekend Work Program, because lets face it, they did all the heavy lifting. Guys on the crew, you did a great job cleaning it up. I just rode by and the area looks a million times better! I know that not one of you wanted to be there today, but if it is any consolation, your work is much appreciated and you had a hand in making San Jose a little bit better place to live today. You are to be commended. I'll leave this poll up for a period, just so everybody gets a chance to see that you can change things if you make your voice heard.
