As current members of the JFS sixth form, the dress code is something that we are very happy with, being a perfect compromise between remaining modest yet still having enough freedom to express ourselves and be comfortable throughout the day. Recent rumours, which have been confirmed, state that there is a wish for the uniform to be made smarter, with girls no longer being allowed to wear body con skirts and boys potentially having to wear 'polo shirts'. We are certain that there would be many students who would oppose to this seemingly pointless proposal, so we believe that by showing this majority opinion to the school, we may be able to be heard and be some part of the decision process.
