I wanted to share with you all where we are with Jess’s Rule. After so much work behind the scenes, there is now a proposed launch date of Tuesday 23rd September. While I know things can still change, this feels like an important step forward, and I’m cautiously optimistic that we’re getting closer to making Jess’s Rule a reality.
This campaign has always shown me that it truly “takes a village.” What began with Jess’s story has grown into a movement powered by nearly half a million of you who signed, shared, and spoke out. Alongside this groundswell of public support, we’ve also had the dedication of so many key people—GPs, civil servants, and politicians—who are helping to shape and carry this forward.
I can’t thank you enough for standing with us. Jess’s Rule is about making sure young adults are listened to and that cancer is spotted earlier, giving more people the chance they deserve. Knowing how far we’ve come together gives me hope for what lies ahead.
As we approach the 23rd, I’ll keep you updated. Please keep sharing, keep talking about Jess and Jess’s Rule and know that your voice has made—and continues to make—a real difference.
Thank you so much.
