Here is a beautiful video done by my niece showing Jeremy's welcome home. I am deeply grateful to each of you for making this a reality by signing our petition and to Governor Brown. I believe our California Three Strikes law is out of control. Imagine being given only three chances in life to quit smoking, lose weight, stop swearing or be treated for a medical condition like cancer. Three chances and then you are handed a death sentence for a life term for failing to conquer your drug addiction or personal problems. Most incarcerated are in the big house because the rooted problems are addiction. Addiction has been studied and is a medical problem often requiring multiple treatments just as cancer requires several rounds of chemotherapy and/or radiation. Stand with us and join We the People Org to help change our three strikes law to make sure no more nonviolent offenders are put away for life. People change with treatment, education, and time to develop. Jeremy is currently attending San Diego's Rehabilitation Center known as the The Training Center to help transition back into society and he feels remorse for his past choices. Through prayer and forgiveness miracles do happen. Again, I want to say Thank you so much, My grandchildren have their dad back. Heatherly had her first dinner with her dad.
