When you see people collecting signatures in California for our 2018 election, please ask for "The Fair Chance Project and Public Safety Act" petition. This initiative changes California's nonviolent serious list ending property theft as a strike offense. I believe no one should behind bars for decades wasting our tax dollars because they stole property. Extreme sentencing practice are not the answer to keeping our communities safer.
