The Issue

Calling all Animal Welfare & Wildlife lovers, Every year more and more pets are killed purposely and accidentally by Antifreeze poisoning. Antifreeze is said to be sweet and animals like to eat or drink it. But ingestion of antifreeze can often be fatal if it's not immediately treated.

The chemical content of Ethylene glycol is metabolized by the liver and travels in the bloodstream to the kidneys, where it forms insoluble calcium oxalate crystals inside the renal tubules. Once metabolism of the Ethylene glycol has reached a certainpoint, there is no way to stop it, because these crystals are insoluble, there is no way to remove them from the body. They cause permanent damage to the kidney tissue, which ultimately leads to kidney failure and death.

Propylene Glycol is much safer and is even used in Lotions, Creams, Toothpaste and as a Dog food additive, it is not as toxic as Ethylene Glycol. Some antifreeze's already use Propylene, but that is not enough. Animals are still dying from Ethylene poisoning.

This can be easily avoided by swapping the ingredients and ending so much suffering, the product Bitrex can also be added as a bitter to deter animals from the liquid. Our pets are suffering slow and painful deaths which are becoming more and more popular when there are harmless Cat & wildlife deter-ants you can buy at local pet shops.

This is heart breaking for countless owners and I wouldn't wish it upon anyone having to watch there fur-baby suffer and struggle to breathe on this terrible poison as it slowly kills them.

Please sign this to show your support to have this product changed once and for all! Something so little can stop so much suffering. In Memory of Salem, Burdock, and all the other Cats & Animals that have passed by this horrible cause of death.

Thank you.
