It is important that we do not stay silent anymore. If we want things to change for the POC community, we have to change our education system. Make black history a mandatory part of our curriculum. Black history month is not enough. The youth of today deserve to be educated properly. We need to change the social contract of today. It is time that we rise up as a community and demand better education. Let's end ignorance and hatred with a new curriculum, that teaches our youth sensitivity, understanding, and equality for all.

I believe change starts in schools. Let us guide the next generation into a future of hope and love.
