We hope you now understand that as a consumer, you are being price gouged. You are overpaying for liquor due to what I believe is illegal price manipulation on over 3200 products.

Colorado small businesses, as well as consumers, are victims of this unfair and unethical price manipulation. This price manipulation is prohibited by Colorado Liquor Law. I believe this law is being blatantly ignored.

What can we do about it?

This is where your signature comes in.

We need your signature to force Governor Jared Polis to push for the full enforcement of these laws! Without a level playing field for all liquor stores, you will never see competitive pricing on alcohol or save the money you could be saving.

There are more than 3,200 new products that are carried at Total Wine and More. These products should be available to all liquor stores throughout Colorado, at the same price paid by the national chain. We feel the distributor or supplier is manipulating the market.

If these products were ALL readily available to ALL liquor stores in Colorado, as our liquor laws require, all liquor stores would be able to buy them at the same price as the national chain. The result would be competitive pricing and money back in your pocket.

Before these products that are carried at Total Wine and More entered Colorado, there was complete transparency of products available for purchase from suppliers and distributors, and no minimums on how many cases must be purchased at one time. This meant that Colorado residents could go into ANY liquor store and be able to purchase the same products at a competitive price.

There is a clear lack of transparency related to product availability and a 900-case minimum purchase, which keeps these products out of over 1,500 Colorado liquor stores. This is price manipulation and it comes at the expense of you, the consumer.

Please sign this petition and let’s force our governor to stand for the enforcement of Colorado's liquor laws.  We will no longer allow unethical and unfair treatment of you, the consumer, Colorado liquor store owners and Colorado small businesses. We can do this together.
