As a life-long Jags fan since day one, I have witnessed the evolution of our beloved team and experienced countless memorable moments. However, there is one aspect of our game-day experience that has always left me cringing - the chant "move those chains." It's time for a change!

It is time to embrace a stronger, more inclusive, and more vibed-out first down chant.  

The current first down celebration chant "move those chains, move those chains, move those chains, (grunt)!" lacks both swag and creativity. Its repetitive nature fails to capture the essence of what makes football fandom so special. Moreover, given the history of the NFL and more broadly this country, it borders on being problematic.

To support my case for a cooler, possibly more European football club-style chant, let's consider remixing a verse or two from a song by a relevant Jacksonville Florida based musicians:

1. Flirtin' with Disaster — Molly Hatchet

2. Nookie — Limp Bizket

3. (Fill the rest out later)

By signing this petition, you are expressing your desire for a change that will elevate our game-day experience and bring us closer to the thrilling atmosphere found in/around winning teams.  Let's replace the lackluster "move those chains" x3 chant + grunt, with a new, cooler chant that reflects our team's identity and inspires both players and fans alike.
