Many of you have heard over the last few days that an investor has purchased about 2000 acres in Maxville for a massive development of homes and some businesses. This is going to affect many of us in several different ways. We don’t want our community to become another Orange Park and we don’t want Normandy Boulevard to become another Blanding Boulevard although it is already extremely busy and has recently become a very dangerous road to travel on.

From what we are hearing they plan to build around 5000 homes. Development will be from Maxville- Middleburg Road to Solomon Road. The infrastructure in Maxville cannot support this kind of development. While we know that progress is coming our way we want it to be done properly and to preserve our little community. 

This DEVELOPMENT is going to bring so much traffic to our two lane road, cause so much problems with schools, traffic, congestion, it will mess up our beautiful lands, and most importantly it will destroy our way of living.
