The Government and Courts of New Zealand are in the process of transferring our most important treasure (our great outdoors) from public ownership to private Maori tribal ownership.

This is not a dress rehearsal, the court system is going to allow the entire NZ Foreshore and Seabed (coastline) to be transferred and now DOC (Dept of Conservation) land looks like it is going the same way.

Ordinary New Zealanders are facing being denied access to our coastlines and mountains and rivers;

                    “and restrict public access through wahi tapu”

They are fucking with something that is fundamental to who we are, the freedom of roaming around in the wildernesses of our beautiful country, it is almost beyond belief. 

This petition is to Prime minister Jacinda Ardern, as the leader of the highest court in our land (the Government) we demand you stop the transfer of our beautiful coastline, mountains and rivers from public ownership to race based private ownership.
