Help bring an end to the racial disparities in black communities in Illinois

Help bring an end to the racial disparities in black communities in Illinois
The Issue
The State of Illinois Community Clean Up Petition to end systemic environmental racism in Illinois black communities.
East St. Louis housed 14 bio hazardous sites that posed a threat to human health due to its toxicity. East St. Louis population is 98.1% black and has been deemed the most distressed small city in America. This is due to systemic environmental racism perpetuated by our government and chemical companies Big Zinc, Monsanto Chemical, and Pfizer Chemical. The effects of those chemicals caused cognitive development issues with the residents, life long health problems, and destroyed the ground with chemicals that raised the toxicity levels so high we can’t use it for agriculture.
The disparities are too drastic too ignore any longer. Help uplift the community and bring change to the effects that systemic racism has had on our country. This evil has plagued and purposefully kept black neighborhoods in poverty since before the Jim Crow era and it’s time for our state and local governments to legislatively act show they care for East St. Louis, Edgemount, and Washington Park the same way they care for Belleville, O’Fallon, and Fairview Heights.
This petition is calling for
Section 1
The state of Illinois to take action and create new sanctions and fines for St. Clair County, to ensure their spreading their resources out fairly among all of the cities and towns within St. Clair County. Specifically the predominantly black communities like East St. Louis, Edgemount, and Washington Park.
Section 2
Create new sanctions and fines for St. Clair County that if it fails to send their cleaning and road crews to towns in dire conditions due to systemic racism such as East. St. Louis, Washington Park, and Edgemont.

The state of Illinois to create cleaning crews, and street care team jobs in the cites of East. St Louis, Washington Park, Edgemont, and other cities and towns in Illinois effected by systemic racism to ensure our streets are kept as well cared for as Belleville, O’Fallon, and Fairview Heights. These jobs are to be funded by the state or St. Clair County.
Section 4
The state and federal government agencies take immediate action in cleaning the and disinfecting the land of East St Louis that has been contaminated by multi billion chemical companies that chose East St Louis because the population of East St. Louis consist of 98.1% Black people. East St Louis house 14 bio hazardous sites that are According to Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) The 14 sites in East St. Louis IL, pose the most significant potential threat to human health due to their known or suspected toxicity and potential for human exposure.
