October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and Izzy’s Law FL wants to be out in the community - attending domestic violence awareness events, speaking with families and advocates, gathering support, and educating people about why children must be better protected when domestic violence is present. Our first booth will be at CASA’s ‘Step Up For Survivors’ event on October 17th in Lecanto, FL! But to do that effectively, we need a professional booth that people can see, approach, and remember. Our goal is to raise $2,590 before October to purchase the materials we need to set up at these events - materials that can continue being used at advocacy events long after October is over. It’s a place where we can tell Izzy’s story. It’s a place where we can explain why a child’s safety should never become secondary to a parenting schedule.
