It is very concerning to share that tax exemption on Disability Pension is being removed from 01 April 2026.
This decision will badly affect disabled Veterans and their families, who are already facing many challenges in daily life. Disability Pension is not an extra benefit, it is support given for sacrifices made in service of the nation.
We humbly appeal to all concerned authorities to review and withdraw this decision in the interest of justice, dignity, and welfare of our disabled veterans.
