On this day, September 9th 2022 I had my 5 week post op with the surgeon who did my major surgery in Ireland!

I explained to him where as a lot of the symptoms were gone - I had had 4 organs removed - I still had pre existing Bowel Symptoms that had not improved and his response was “I got it all” so you won’t need to return!

When the consultation was over I informed him my solicitor would need to speak to him about my surgery because the surgery was so major after decades of being told my endometriosis was clear!

He refused to agree to speak with my solicitor because he did not want to be “dragged” into legal proceedings!

This is the reality for many women in Ireland - medics refusing to speak out against other medics - protecting each other while the patients suffer!

For 18 months post surgery I was dismissed and gaslit by this surgeon who refused me scans and insisting I could not possibly have any endometriosis left but two scans in November and December 2023 confirmed Endometriosis was still present.

For the next year & a half I could not get Extra Pelvic Endometriosis Treatment in Ireland so I am forced to leave Ireland.

This day next month I will have had my specialist scans and specialist consultation in Romania to plan out next steps.
