My invitation to the Minister of Healths Endometriosis Forum arrived by email today for Monday September 1st in the Department of Health in Dublin.
I really do want to see change happen in Ireland but for me having to raise the funds to leave Ireland after decades of medical neglect, I find this forum too little too late for me.
I found the experience in Leinster House very retraumatising when we weren’t treated with the respect that should have been given to the motion that was presented!
I am shattered from all of this campaign work, my priority at present is to raise the funds to get to Romania in October not entertain this political chess game.
My thoughts on my invitation to Mondays forum - firstly the invitation arrived in a word document and not on Oireachtas Headed Paper!
The content of the letter is generic and not genuine as I’ve never had a conversation with the Minister of Health so it’s disappointing to see how the invitation to such an important event is shabby - I have never been given the opportunity to share my story to the Ministers office so the letter does not sit well with me!
Honestly the effort being put into the seriousness of this crisis speaks volumes - in my opinion it is lip service that we are used to from Government Officials!
If the Minister would like to attend the Cneasú Endometriosis Retreat in Kerry in March, 6th to 8th 2026 she is more than welcome to come and listen to our lived experiences!
Keep sharing this petition to demand a National Inquiry and please help support my crowdfund campaign to avail of Extra Pelvic Endometriosis Specialist Treatment in Romania!
