I am being forced to leave Ireland for Complex Endometriosis Treatment because I can not access Treatment in Ireland for Extra Pelvic Endometriosis.

On July 15th 2025 I attended the Endometriosis Motion in Dàil Eireann where I witnessed the Minister of Health reject an Endometriosis Centre of Excellence in Ireland she said “Irish Women have the choice to leave Ireland for Specialist Care”.
This is not a Choice - my health is deteriorating - I am 46 and have been living with the impact of this disease since I was an infant.
It is humiliating to have to set up a crowdfund and face backlash and judgement from people who don’t understand the seriousness of this disease and the endometriosis crisis in Ireland & the UK.
I have tried every option to provide for myself economically my entire life while living with a serious illness that I can not access basic healthcare in my own country and this is where I am at because I don’t have the choice to wait for the Department of Health to do their job.
