I have had to remove the name of an innocent man from my list: Heidar Ghorbani. He was executed this morning.

He talked to his lawyer last night but he didn't know that they'd kill him today. Neither his lawyer nor his family were informed about his fate. Since his brother has said that Heidar is innocent, he has also been arrested. 

Heidar was born in 1973 in a village in Iranian Kurdistan. He was only 7 years old when the Islamic regime killed his father. In 2016 a few Islamic guards were killed in Kamyaran by armed people. About two weeks later Heidar was arrested. Heidar was tortured to coffess he was responsible for killing those guards. His confession was broadcast on Press TV.

Because of his confession he was condemned to execution in 2020. His wife had said that he'd confessed under torture and asked for help from international organisations.
