Springboks fans, be afraid! Be very afraid! 

In spite of probably the worst refereeing performance in rugby internationals this year (The scandal that was NZ vs South Africa in the group stages), Jerome Garces has been selected to officiate the semi-final between the Boks and Wales.

What on earth is @WorldRugby playing at? There were tens of thousands of outraged fans following the Debacle of Yokohama, @WorldRugby even put out a statement of the back of the shambles that it was criticising the refs, a petition demanding Garces not officiate in the knock out rounds garnered nearly 2,500 signatures, the Twittersphere was alight with bemused fans, and print media, many ex-players and rugby experts were so scathing of his performance that it was almost impossible to imagine him reffing another game before he finally does the game a favour and hangs up his whistle.

This is an utter disgrace. Expect the Boks to feel very aggrieved at the end of the 80 minutes. NZ will have a walkover in the final (Wales haven't beaten NZ in 50 years).
