For anyone who isn't already aware, Jared Milner started a brand new petition just a few days ago calling for Jerome Garces to be stood down from the RSA-WAL game on Sunday. It has been unbelievably successful and stands at nearly 7,000 signatures already! It is even featuring in the NZ and British press!
For anyone who hasn't seen that new petition you can find it here (see below)
If we can try and bring over support from the original petition to Jared's one we can hopefully push way past 10,000/maybe even 15,000 signatures in the next 24-48 hours. The ex-London bankster types running @WorldRugby won't be able to ignore that, people. The toffs and the lord snooty types sitting in their ivory towers will need to address this before things get completely out of control. They need to stop treating SA like a colony and respect this great rugby nation by demonstrating fairness and justice when appointing officials.
All props to Jared for what he has done so far. This isn't just about the Springboks, because I can tell you that the original petition garnered global support. That should tell you everything. The refereeing has been poor at this RWC, but Jerome Garces is in a whole different bracket.
I am not a Springbok supporter, but I believe in the good of the game. It is also a disgrace to see a team with such a storied history be treated so unfairly, guys. SOUTH AFRICA! GET OFF YOUR KNEES AND STOP #JEROMEGARCES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
