To the Government and Parliament of the Netherlands,

We, Iranians residing in the Netherlands and supporters of human rights, express our deep concern over the ongoing and systematic repression of peaceful protests in Iran by the Islamic Republic.

Iranian authorities continue to use lethal force, mass arrests, torture, and intimidation against citizens demanding their fundamental rights. Thousands have been killed, injured, imprisoned, or forcibly disappeared. During major protests, the regime routinely imposes nationwide internet shutdowns to silence the population, conceal abuses, and isolate Iranians from the outside world. These actions constitute grave human rights violations and may amount to crimes against humanity.

Despite this repression, the people of Iran continue to demand freedom, dignity, and fundamental political change. Their courage reflects a clear and sustained popular will.

We respectfully urge the Government of the Netherlands to take principled and decisive action by:

• Publicly and unequivocally condemning the violent repression of peaceful protesters in Iran;
  Officially designating the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization;
• Expelling representatives and diplomats of the Islamic Republic involved in intimidation, surveillance, or propaganda activities;
• Supporting international accountability mechanisms for human rights violations;
• Standing firmly in defense of human rights, freedom of expression, and the Iranian people’s right to determine their own future.

Silence and inaction enable further violence. We urge the Netherlands to uphold its commitment to human rights and stand in solidarity with the people of Iran.
