We, Iranians and Friends of Iran living in Sweden, launch this petition with a deep sense of responsibility and hope for Iran’s future. Through this initiative, we express our support for His Royal Highness Prince Reza Pahlavi as a suitable and unifying figure to help lead Iran’s transitional period following the end of the Islamic Republic.

 

In recent years, the people of Iran have made immense sacrifices in their pursuit of freedom, justice, transparency, and respect for human dignity. As members of the Iranian community and supporters of Iran in Sweden, we have witnessed—both directly and indirectly—the profound impact of political repression, economic hardship, and systemic failure on the lives, health, and well-being of the Iranian people. These realities have led us to believe that Iran now needs leadership with a clear democratic vision, moral credibility, and the ability to unite the nation during a sensitive and historic transition.

 

We believe that:

 

• Prince Reza Pahlavi’s consistent commitment to democracy, human rights, secular governance, and national unity makes him a credible and trustworthy figure for this critical period.

• He has demonstrated the capacity to encourage inclusive dialogue among Iran’s diverse political, social, and cultural communities.

• Supporting him strengthens the collective voice of Iranians worldwide and helps draw international attention to the legitimate demands of the Iranian people for a peaceful and democratic future.

 

This petition does not seek to impose a political system on the people of Iran. Rather, it expresses support for a transitional leadership that prioritizes unity, free elections, the rule of law, and the fundamental rights of all citizens.
