The first round of U.S.–Iran peace talks in Pakistan ended without a deal after more than 20 hours of negotiations.

Now, tensions are rising again.

The United States has seized an Iranian ship and imposed a naval blockade, while Iran has signaled it may not return to the negotiating table. The ceasefire is fragile, and every delay increases the risk of renewed war.

Lives are at stake. Thousands have already been killed across the region, and further escalation could make the situation far worse.

Diplomacy is not optional — it is urgent.

Iran’s Foreign Ministry
to immediately return to peace talks and engage in negotiations to prevent further loss of life.
