In a recent blog-post, IO Interactive has laid out their plans leading up to the release of Hitman 3 next week (20th of January). See here: https://www.ioi.dk/hitman-3-pre-launch-guide/

In this blog-post, it can be read that all owners of previous games are eligible for an Access Pass to said owned content, free of charge. This has also been mentioned at multiple occasions, as documented here: https://i.imgur.com/M3qXlNK.png

As can be read further on, PC players will only be able to import the levels of Hitman 1 if they do so in a specific time-frame (which basically means free content, so we can't complain). Owners of Hitman 1 on Epic Games Store can claim this at any time, which is also more than okay.

However, what's not okay is the fact that PC players will have to buy an additional Access Pass on the Epic Game Store to get access to Hitman 2 levels which they might already own on the Steam platform. Unlike console gamers, who get this option for free.

This feels unfair, especially considering that when Hitman 2016 and Hitman 2 came out, the Epic Games Store wasn't an option to consider yet.

We want an equal treatment for everyone. Just like console owners, we PC players also want a (limited?) free option, regardless of the PC platform the prior games and content was bought on.
